In every election, the elderly and retired are one of the key groups as there is a lot of them and they vote. This election year is no different as retirement issues are one of the main points on the Democrat's national agenda, and Republicans just off an attempt to privatize social security. There are several issues our position papers might focus on:
1. The current Social Security System versus a privatized one
2. Is Social Security going bankrupt?
3. Annuities and Insurance available for the elderly.
4. Healthcare as it relates to those retired.
5. Affordable healthcare and prescription drug coverage for the elderly.
